About MUV College

Small college.
Serious purpose.

We built MUV College on a simple conviction: that the best learning happens in small, deliberate communities — and that Malta, of all places, is where that community should be.

Who we are
A licensed further and higher education institution
rooted in Birkirkara, Malta — since 2020.
We put students at the centre of everything.
Not marketing language — it's the first of our ten institutional objectives, and it shapes every decision from campus design to class sizes.
Practice-based teaching, not lecture-hall theory.
Every programme at MUV is built around doing — studios, kitchens, rehearsal spaces, real audiences. You learn your craft by practising it.
One building. Classrooms below, residences above.
131 Valley Road, Birkirkara is a working campus in the urban heart of Malta. Your commute is a flight of stairs. Your cohort is the people you live with.
International from day one.
Our students arrive from across Asia, Africa and Europe. All programmes are in English. The MFHEA licence means your qualification is recognised across the EU and beyond.
A college that is part of Malta, not just in it.
We work with Maltese community organisations, cultural institutions and government bodies — because we believe a college owes something to the place it calls home.

Our story

Built carefully,
on purpose.

2020
Licensed by MFHEA

MUV College receives its licence from the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority as a Further and Higher Education Institution — Licence No. 2020-006. The first courses open at 131 Valley Road, Birkirkara.

2022
Creative Practice & Food Science programmes accredited

MUV's diploma and degree programmes in Creative Practice and Food Science receive full MFHEA accreditation at MQF Levels 5 and 6 — establishing the two core subject areas the college is built around.

2024
Community roots deepen

MUV joins the Valletta Design Cluster & Splendid Cultural Incubation Centre as a member and supporter, and builds working relationships with FTZ Community Foundation, MIEMA, be2bit and FIDEM Foundation — embedding the college further into Malta's cultural and civic life.

Now
10 programmes, one campus, students from across the world

MUV today offers ten accredited programmes from MQF Level 3 to Level 6 — in Creative Practice, Food Science, and English Language — with an international student body and a rooftop where the stories worth telling tend to happen.

Partners & connections

We don't work
in isolation.

MUV's network spans Maltese government bodies, community foundations and cultural institutions. These relationships shape what happens in the classroom and well beyond it.

Come and see it
for yourself.

The campus, the cohort, the rooftop — some things are better experienced than described. Get in touch and we'll arrange a visit.
