Our student services team is based on campus during office hours and is the first point of contact for students — for anything to do with the College itself, or with settling into life in Malta.
Induction
Before term starts, you'll go through a proper induction — what to expect from College life, how the campus works, and who to go to for what. It's designed so nothing about your first weeks feels like guesswork.
Visa, residence and work permits
Guidance through your study visa application and residence permit, including what documents you'll need and how the local process works. If you plan to work part-time alongside your studies, we'll help you understand what's permitted and how to apply.
Accommodation
Help finding somewhere to live that suits your budget and routine — including introductions to our accommodation partners near campus — and support if anything needs sorting out once you're there.
Health insurance and healthcare access
Advice on arranging the health insurance you'll need as an international student, and help understanding how to access Malta's national health service if you ever need to see a doctor.
Getting around
From arranging an airport transfer for your arrival to applying for a local bus card, we'll make sure getting to and from campus is one less thing to think about.
Cultural orientation and community
Introductions to Maltese culture and everyday life, plus connections to cultural and ethnical associations if you'd like to stay close to home while you're here.
Religious and spiritual life
Help finding a place of worship or community that reflects your beliefs, wherever they fall.
Finance and funding
Advice on student stipends, scholarships and grant schemes — including Malta's Get Qualified scheme — and who to speak to if you're trying to work out what you're eligible for.
Campus and accessibility
Support finding your way around campus, and making sure the facilities you rely on are actually accessible to you — raise it early and we'll work it out together.
Life in Malta
Practical, honest advice on day-to-day life on the island and in the local community — the kind of thing that's hard to Google but easy to just ask.
Students with families
If you have parental or domestic responsibilities, we'll help you arrange what you need locally — from daycare and childminding to connecting with schools.
